  The staff was very friendly and professional, I don't know why everybody is complaining. I made an appointment online for 10.10 am and at 10.21 am I was out of there with everything I needed. I read the reviews before going and I was scared they were gonna send me home packing but it was so not the case. Gave 5 stars for this place because I was pleasantly surprised of their professionalism.

  It's like going back to the stone age (in terms of customer service). No respect. As soon as I came in, I started asking questions in English (needed my passport renewed), because my Romanian isn't so great (I moved to Canada at the age of 6). One of the guys immediately started scrutinizing me, asking why I even need a Romanian passport, since I can't speak or read/write in Romanian. Rude and disrespectful the whole time. Not sure how these imbeciles are even put in that post.

  The staff has been very professional and informative to my matters and my concerns, and from what I could see and hear, to all those that needed the consular services.While I was there I saw several times the consul general come out within 1 hour to answer questions and give explanations. They are very busy and yet very efficient. Just make an appointment before going in.

  Just make an appointment online and read the requirements before going in and stop blaming the system and the people working there for your own incompetence of getting informed before hand.

  Although, I was frustrated because the online booking didn't help to get serviced in due time , I have to say I was pleasantly impressed by the Romanian Consul. I just observed him from distance while lining up at the counter. He tried his best to help the public from the waiting room by answering questions and providing useful information for each case . Unfortunately, they lack personnel and at least the Notary Public is overwhelmed with the cases she has to handle. I assume this is the reason she doesn't have a smile on her face and she is not sufficiently professional . On the other hand their online booking system needs improvements . My appointment was for 11:30 am and there was another couple booked at the same time for the same matter. The Embassy in Ottawa is better organized and not so crowded

  Wow... if I could I would give no star... just stood there to get yelled at because she had to modify a power of attorney... just dinner job... And because I didn't have $4cash... the disrespect is unbelievable... I was expecting to be a bad experience from reading other comments but i wasn't expecting this. No customer service ... non.
